Step 1. Does Your Health Fund Cover This Exercise Package?

We are yet to find a healthcare extras plan that doesn’t include $250 towards an exercise program. However, we cannot guarantee your fund covers this and recommend you check. Below is a list of major health funds and the associated forms you require. Below that is how you can check if your fund covers the $250 as well.

How To Find Your Form If It Is Not Listed Above

  • Go to google and type in “Health Improvement Benefit Approval Form YOUR HEALTH FUND NAME

  • If nothing comes up, get in contact with your insurer or do some research on their website to see if they have any exercise program forms/information about claiming exercise programs

  • Once you locate the form, you can be pretty certain your fund covers exercise programs.

  • Get in contact with your fund/begin a fake claim to see how much money you get back on a $250 program. Every fund we have contacted has $250 but, you never know, your fund may be an outlier so definitely check.

Step 4. Get Your Health Fund Document Signed

 

Conveniently, the person taking your initial 15 minute call is also a qualified Physiotherapist. This makes it super easy for them to sign your form at the clinic to refer you to a Functional Patterns Practitioner. Alternatively, you can get the form signed by your physiotherapist or physician. Whatever works best for you.

Once your form is signed, make a claim and attach the form to the claim. You’ll get your money back while you keep the immense amount of knowledge and practical information you now have at your disposal. Where to next?
