After more than 10 years working as a Pilates instructor, I kept seeing the same pattern: people would get stronger, more flexible, even feel better temporarily… but their underlying movement patterns weren’t really changing.
When I discovered Functional Patterns, it completely shifted how I understood posture, gait and coordination. Instead of isolating muscles, the focus became how the whole body organises movement, and the results spoke for themselves.
Now, my goal with Rise & Realign is to give people a clear, structured way to rebuild their movement in a supportive group environment. This isn’t about pushing harder or chasing fatigue. It’s about learning how to move with more balance, stability and intention so the changes actually carry over into daily life.

Functional patterns has been a game changer for me. As I experienced knee pain doing squats and lunges, I was unable to engage in traditional weight lifting exercises.
